Video: Insane Audi R8 GT850 by Birds Eye Productions

Pictures and video of this INSANE Audi R8 GT850 are brought to you by my good friend Josh Lambeth of Birds Eye Productions who produced it for Couture Customs in Scottsdale, AZ, which is the dealership that sold this car. His company specializes in aerial photography and put this video together using their SteadiFly system and shot with a Canon 5DMKIII in Raw. If you’re not sure what all of that means don’t worry, just watch the video and enjoy!

The car was apparently a hot item because it sold before the dealership ever even had a chance to publish a full listing of the car online, which means I only have limited info about it to share here.  I can tell based on looks alone that it is equipped with a Prior Design GT850 widebody, Forgiato wheels, upgraded LEDs in the headlights and trunklid, it’s lowered, and has a whole host of other upgrades I’m probably missing. It appears to be Ibis White and thats about all of the information I have.

While the styling may be a bit extreme for some, it definitely gives the R8 an exotic “super car” look to it that is sure to turn heads. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, and the widebody kit seems to have a great fit and finish. Judging by how quick the car sold, the (new) owner must have agreed!

Josh was kind enough to send over some still shots from the video to share in the post along with the video, so you can stare at the car until your heart is content – it would also make a great desktop background. Thank you Josh for sharing the photos & video and let me know what you think in the comments or on my Facebook or Google+ pages!

  1. I love videos like this because I love seeing the R8 in action. My one irritation… Music instead of engine noise!! :/ Otherwise a totally gorgeous car. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I’m wondering if that is accurate or not, it doesn’t look like they spent a lot of time on the listing as none of the mods are listed so it could just be placeholder text and may be a V10. Will try to contact them tomorrow and find out.
